Tutorial after pitching our summer work and ideas for concepts for third year
From the 4 boards that i created over the summer, I have learnt that it is best to develop concepts for my final project instead of picking a specific theme, such as physical movement.
From my boards I have chosen to work further on the idea that "Things are not always as they seem."
This idea has come from being inspired by "voyeurism" and lace on trend at LFW A/W 12/13
I think this idea will work well because of the importance of researching and bringing together as much information and initial work to develop further to take onto and create prints.
Over the next few weeks I want to participate in life drawing classes, refresh my memory of photoshop and practice my sewing machine skills.
I would like to involve my own photography in my work so will go to the photography department and find out about different filters and lenses.
Working with different perspectives, blurred lenses, distortion and manipulation.
